This is a die struck vintage patina raw brass Swordfish stamping. It is 2 inches long and 1 inch wide at the widest point. There are lots of circular bezel cups to place small rhinestones, pearls or tiny cabs to make this into a spectacular pin or pendant.
I don't know the age of this but it is vintage and old looking. It is heavier than most stampings I have seen before. I guess they don't make them like this any more! I believe this to be rare. I have seen similar pieces online stating they were Art Nouveau French brass die struck stampings, however, I don't know if that is what these are. In any case, they are really interesting for assembledge jewelry art. It is bound to be a great conversation piece if you were to use them for jewelry making.
