A few years ago, I attended an estate auction of a quilter. There were many beautiful handmade quilts of vintage and antique fabrics. At this auction there were also boxes of all of this dear lady's stash of fabrics. This lady also came out of the Great Depression and knew to never throw away anything including the scraps from her sewing projects. I was excited to win a bid of one of her scrap boxes that was all vintage printed fabrics. I have since made a crazy quilt for myself and I was inspired to make these headbands with the same fabrics to share some of the fun. I also hand-embroidered it and added colorful vintage buttons.

With the hot sunny weather, these head bands are great for keeping long hair off the back of your neck. whether you have short or long hair, they are fashionable to coordinate with any casual outfit. Wear this with your festival, beach, casual, or back-to-school outfits.

This headband will fit a teen to adult woman comfortably. They measure 19 inches and stretch with the elastic to 23 " in circumference.
