This bag was made from vintage pale yellow linen curtains. It is amazing how you can make something beautiful out of old things that would have otherwise been thrown away. It is lined with cotton printed kitchen curtain material and tan and white cotton fabric. The outside of this bag features a vintage hand embroidered doily.
This bag is very roomy for you to carry your books, flea market finds, laptop, change of clothes, or whatever you need to tote around for your journey. It is 16 1/2 inches deep and 16 1/2 inches wide. There are two up-cycled wooden ring belts as the straps to sling over one or two shoulders to carry your treasures. There is a sweet smaller pocket for your cell phone, keys, or other small items made from a vintage doily inside the bag and another inside pocket that is 9 inches deep to keep things organized. The top is a draw string closure.
This bag is washable by hand with gentle soap and lay flat to dry.
