Once in awhile, from our backyard at night we are able to hear a wild cat roaring in the distance and another one answering the call. I have always been mystified by these elusive cats. They are so beautiful and graceful and yet fierce survivors. Although the cat I hear is probably a bobcat, this bag has a leopard from a vintage up-cycled velvety jungle tapestry which was formed to make the body of this tote.

This roomy bag will be very rugged to carry nearly anything you need in your travels. There is an outside pocket large enough for a water bottle, camera, cell phone, or anything you would like to be able to get to easily. It has vintage embroidery from an old kitchen apron that was tattered. The shoulder straps are a soft tan ultrasuede fabric with a rosy leopard print that are 3 inches wide and 28 inches long for your comfort. Both straps can be flipped over so you can have the outside pocket secure on your back to protect any of your valuables. The length of the bag is a deep 24 inches and 13 inches wide when laying flat. The top of the bag is a drawstring type closure made with a woven up-cycled belt that can also be used as a carry strap. The interior is lined with a tan botanical printed cotton with a two smaller pockets as well for smaller things to be kept from getting buried deep inside.

You'll like the embroidered details, beaded trim, and the whip stitching that were hand sewn to add more interest to this sturdy bag. The fringe on the back is the orginal fringe from the edge of the tapestry. The bag has been machine sewn and reinforced with upholstery grade thread. You may also wash this bag with gentle soap and lay flat to dry.
