Art Assemblage Necklace: I created the long necklace by building it around a fabulous patinaed miniature copper water pitcher. I found stone beads that had the same hues of blue and green that matched the patina on the pitcher. I had some vintage brass chain that seemed to match the brass handle. I added a few multicolored frit glass artisan beads and a wire wrapped turquoise pendant. I made it into a double strand necklace by adding a multicolored gemstone chip beads with a lovely handcrafted wooden heart that is removable and can be worn on its own. The eclectic mix is very organic and natural.
It measures 26 to 29 inches long with a 7 inch pendant. The heart necklace is 14 inches long with a 1 1/2 inch heart pendant that can be remove or attached anywhere on the main neck chain.
