I created this unique bracelet by cutting up a vintage fruitcake tin to make the focal point of the bracelet. I filed the edges of all tin pieces to make them smooth and riveted two together. I added little Czech glass beads and African glass beads from Ghana. I made a hook clasp from an old vintage brass bangle bracelet. The brass chain is actually a piece of a neck chain from Hawaii. There is also a little red howlite skull and yellow suede tassel. The tassel is hooked on with a lobster clasp to make it removable.
You will surely receive compliments when you wear this special piece. I enjoyed making it and love it how it updates the old discarded tins into something new and fun!
The length of this bracelet is adjustable from 7 inches to 10 1/2 inches.
